Feeding experiments on pre-reared pike

Different feeding and stocking varieties of pre-reared pike were investigated in artificial keeping conditions. In the first experiment 25 fish were stocked in 130 l volume individually treated aquaria. Control groups received collected zooplankton and live bream fry ad libitum. Experimental groups were fed on Tubifex worm and bream fry during the first 3 weeks which was afterwards gradually changed to Tubifex+frittered fish.
