[Economic analysis of ginger in Way Gubak village, Bandar Lampung]

A study has been conducted to investigate financial feasibility of farm management and allocation of applying production factors and the effect of ginger productivity in Way Gubak Village, Bandar Lampung with survey method. Samples are 20 respondents taken randomly. The analysis using investment criteria and Cobb-Douglas function. The result showed that Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp. 212.886,- can be obtained. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 4.42 percent and Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C ratio) 1.17. It means that ginger agrobusiness in Way Gubak, Bandar Lampung is financially profitable. Adoption of technology at farming system level is low, but increasing the use of some production factors. Production increase can only be obtained by the expansion of farm size. The expansion of farm size for about 1 percent will increase yield for about 0.8367 percent cateris paribus. The others production factors such as seed, Urea, TSP and labour not significantly influenced the production
