HPLC quantitative determination of coixol component Coix lachryma-jobi var. mayuen STAPE

The coixol component was separated by High Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC) in water extract from the seeds of Coix lachryma-jobi var. mayuen STAPF. HPLC system using a YMC-Pack ODS column was selected for separation and quantitative determination of coixol component. Calibration curve of coixol component was figured with the regression equation, Y=0.22X+49.18(r=0.981]. Using this method, coixol content of Dongbuk variety was determined as 0.846 mg/g.
