In order to decide the problem of conservation, development and use of gene pool of agricultural plants, animals and organisms in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nazarbayev N.A. the republican target program "Conservation, development and use of gene pool for 2001-2005" is developed and approved by the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of August 1, 2000 No.1167. The aim of the Program - provision of conservation, development and efficiency of use of gene pool of agricultural plants, animals, birds, fish, bees and organisms in selection, seed growing, animal breeding and output of biopreparations for production of agricultural products competitive in the domestic and foreign markets.
