Zekaite, V. (Lithuanian Inst. of Agriculture, Perloja (Lithuania). Perloja Research Station)
Five agricultural experiments were carried out in 1995-1997 in the Perloja Research Station of the Lithuanian Institute of Agriculture. The purpose of these trails was to investigate some questions of the cultivation techniques of white mustard. The average data of 3 years showed: best yield of white mustard seeds was obtained then white mustard was sowed as early as possible with seed rate 15-18 kg/ha. The different intrrow width had no effect on the yield of seeds. The best rate of nitrogen fertilizers is N90. The harrowing before sowing increased seed yield by 12, and herbicide Butizan by 21. The highet yield, 75 of seed rape, was produced using direct harwesting
