The study was conducted to determine the effects of Trace Mineral Supplement with Urea (TMS + U) on milk production, butterfat content of milk, and body weight change of lactating dairy cows. Thirty-five lactating crossbred dairy cows were selected from the DTRI [Dairy Training Research Inst.] Dairy Farm herd and randomly assigned into two groups (Control and Treatment) using Complete Randomized Block Design. Mineral blocks containing TMS + U were provided to the Treatment group while the control group received no feed supplement, with the two groups receiving similar management practices. Better persistency of the milk curve was observed in the Treatment group compared to the Control group. There was a significant increase (P0.05) in butterfat content of milk in the Treatment group, however, bodyweight in the Treatment group was not affected by the supplementation. TMS + U supplementation improved animal productivity as evidenced by a good persistency in milk production, an increase in butterfat content of milk and an increase in net profit in the Treatment group over the Control group
