Transformation of organic matter during composting of poultry manure

Transformations of the organic matter running during composting of poultry manure mixed with the wheat straw were the objects of investigations. There has been found that composting process leads to the reduce of C content, increase of N, decrease of C/N index as well as increase of the sorption capacity. Transformation of the organic matter tends towards running of the humic compounds in more polymerized and condensed structure what is reflected by an increase of Cha/Cfa ratio
