Differences in chemical composition and heavy metals between breeding combinations ROSS 208 and ROSS 308 were analysed. In the breast and thigh muscle of ROSS 308 chickens were significantly higher content of dry matter. So the edible part without giblets were higher in dry matter, content of at and energy value. The differences in content of crude protein, ash and cholesterol were not significant. In the contents of lead, zinc and copper were no differences between breeding combinations. Contents of lead, zinc and copper corresponded with Codex alimentarius SR in all samples. The cadmium content in edible part was higher in two samples. The meat of present hybrid's chickens mainly from breast have high nutritive value and low energetic value and is suitable mainly for low energetic diets
