1998
Uraporn Chaipetch
Acaricides efficacy test on the red spider mite, Eutetranychus orientalis (Klein) was carried out under laboratory conditions. Amitraz used as a standard compound, gave a highest effective followed by fenbutatin oxide, pyridaben and clofentezine which LC50 value were 474.3 ppm, 1062.7 ppm, 2612.9 ppm and 2987.0 ppm respectively. Subsequently the efficacy test of acaricides under pot test conditions by the rate of LC50 value sprayed on papaya seedling with red spider mites on the leaves. The similar manner that amitraz also showed the highest effective followed by fenbutatin oxide, pyridaben and clofentezine which mortality of the red spider mite were 51.16 percent, 50 percent, 47.67 percent and 45.35 percent respectively.
