This edition comprises papers on key issues of agriculture and animal production in the Crimea (Ukraine). The problems are considered of improving soil cultivation systems for cereal crops in the Steppe zone of Ukraine. Special features of price fixing under conditions of reforming the agricultural production are presented. Main lines are stated of optimizing chemical protection of fields against weeds under conditions of ecologization of agriculture in the Crimea. The bioenergetic assessment is given of various methods to procure the combined silos for cattle feeding. A technique is provided for assessing studies of soil moistening and salinity under the local conditions of irrigation of fruit and berry fruit crops. The physiological aspects are highlighted of optimizing rations for feeding animals reared under the extremal conditions, and ways of obtaining ecologically pure animal products. The dynamics is studied of the microorganisms purification in the meadow chernozem when using various elements of winter wheat production technologies, comparative effectiveness of various resource-saving systems of soil cultivation under irrigation
