For the next 10 years (2001 - 2010), the agricultural and rural development in Vietnam should be focused on the establishment of an appropriate rural economic structure. It is necessary to develop a tight relationship between agricultural, food processing, industry with input and output services activities. On the other hand, based on comparative advantages for each product of each locality as well as of the whole country, we have to diversify a sustainable agricultural development; improve agro-product's quality and strengthen its competitiveness in the domestic market as well as the international market
