The abundance of mineral waters in the depressions situeted in the eastern part of Transylvania (Romania) is related both to the postvulcanic manifestations as to the fault systems from the rocks in the foundation. Rich in CO2 and with an accented mineralization, the waters of the springs highlight a great variety concerning the physical-chemical properties. Some of them have thermal water. Their capitalization has in view therapy purposes, in a great number of watering or climatic resorts - and industrial ones - in industrial units for introducing the mineral waters into bottles.
