The importance of recognizing the morphological changes during the development ahenia seed of white linden (Tilia tomentosa Moench.) for the term determination of its picking and planting

The different useful function of white linden and its profitable worth are arguments that should be the spread and encourage plantation of this species by generative way. The problems which appear during plantation are caused by dormancy its seed, and the method of stratified treated seed done the variable results we studied a predominant period. By a plantation the inmature seed of Tilia tomentosa above mentioned aroused problems were considerably exceeded. This paper shows the morphological characteristics in the seed development with the help of which it is possible to determine unoptional term for picking and seed plantation in its inmature stadium. Applying in practice this method it is possible to increased productivity and rationalization of the seedling production of white linden in the nurseries production.
