The monography deals with different aspects of mineral nutrition in cattle, swines, poultry and horses. New products of feed biotechnologies and sources of macro and microelements in organically fixed forms are being developed. These resources represent nutritional factors that can catalyze the utilization of nutrients (digestibility, retention and balance) and improve health and production quality and quantity. The exploitation of organically bound minerals in the organism is higher as compared to inorganic salts and their excretion from the body is lower thus decreasing the risk of enhanced environmental contamination.
