Bumble bees are widely used as pollinators for glasshouse crops, particularly tomatoes. It is important that pesticide applications made to glasshouse crops have no significant adverse effects on the bumble bees on which they are dependent for pollination. This study aimed to determine the effects of a novel insect growth regulator applied to flowering tomatoes on introduced commercial bumble bee colonies
