Performance growth and yield of late maturing corn at specific location under medium altitude

Nine genotypes of late maturing corn from Balittan, Bogor and one variety landrace as a checking variety have been evaluated in Saree, Great Aceh District since July 1998 until November 1998. The objective of experiment was to identify the performance and yield of late maturing corn at specific location on medium altitude. A randomized Completely Block Design with 4 replications was arranged in this experiment. The result showed that genotype of Muara Comp 1 MS 3 and Kalingga gave the highest yield compared to the check variety of landrace and the best adaptation under medium altitude among other genotypes
