To the problem of simultaneous diagnostics of cattle tuberculosis by allergens from various types of mycobacteria

Allergens from Mycobacterium bovis and from atypical mycobacteria from group VI by Ranyon classification (Mycobacterium fortuitum, Mycobacterium smegmatis, Mycobacterium phlex) were produced by a method, which was developed by the authors for life-time differential allergic diagnostics of cattle tuberculosis. Simultaneus allergic study of 128 animals was carried out in the state farm "Oktyabr" of the Tselinogradsky district at the quarantine station for tuberculous cattle. It is found that, compared with the other allergens prepared from Mycobacterium smegnatis and Mycobacterium phley, the greatest number of animals was sensitive to an allergen prepared from Mycobacterium fortuitum. Because of this, it is a good practice to produce allergens from a complex of prevalent atypical microbacteria.
