[Catch crops in resown pastures]

Trials were carried out in 1991-1998. The trials were arranged in the pasture of six to eight yiears of use with 35 to 75 of legumes and 15 to 40 of forbs. The pasture was resown without catch crops or after catch crops: potatoes, cereal crops, green forages crops. The best results were obtained when the pasture was resown after catch crops potatoes. The resowing of pasture after cereal crops was equal to resowing of pasture without catch crops. The resowing of pasture after green forage crops was unprofitable. The resowing of pasture without catch crops or after catch crops increased the amount of grasses and decreased the amount of forbs
