[Triticale as a perspective crop for the brewing]

One of the problems, that provoke low level of high quality beer production, is low quality of barley, cultivated in Belarus, and a high prime cost of the ready-made barley malt. The aim of the investigation is to find out new technologies of the preparation of new sorts of beer by using of non-traditional raw materials that would allow to intensify the technological processes and to improve the quality of ready-made product. Chemical composition and technological characteristics of the different kinds of triticale, cultivated in Belarus, were studied taking into account the use of different kinds of triticale in the production of malt and beer.
