Effect of different sources of N-fertilizers on the growth of wheat

A pot experiment was conducted to observe the effects of different sources of nitrogen on wheat (cv. Sarsabz). Different sources of nitrogen, urea, ammonium sulphate and ammonium chloride of concentrations 75,150 and 200 ppm were added to 5 kg soil. Each treatment was replicated thrice, the pots were randomized. Two harvests at 45 and 60 days were made to study the plant height, number of tillers and fresh weights. N- fertilizers of urea increased the growth parameters and grain yield per pot of wheat, with marked effects.
