Continuous control of nitrification process in sewage treatment plant allows the increase of treatment process effectiveness, further allows to avoid of inhibitors effect and above standard load of the process of ammonia nitrogen. The aim of this study is to mention the exploitation ability of methodology of so-called biosensor A.NIT.A., for continuous monitoring of nitrification bacteria activity and of nitrification process inhibition. The apparatus suggested allows the measurement of residual ammonia nitrogen quantity and speed of nitrification measurement. The nature of the apparatus is titration element for pH control and for registration of the hydroxide amount useful to neutralisation of protons which are produced by nitrification in oxidation mix-up
