Fattening of the broiler rabbit in an ionised environment

An active ionisation of the rearing environment for fattening of broiler rabbits decreased the dustiness in the experimental unit by about 25.9% with regard to the less than 4 micro m fraction and by 37.9% with regard to total dustiness. The NH3 concentrations determined in the ionised environment were lower by 33.5% compared to the non-ionised one and the mortality rate was also lower (by 15.2%). The weight gain and concentrate consumption by the broiler rabbits kept in the ionised environment was higher by 3.7% and 1.8%, respectively
