The analysis of selected anatomical and morphological characteristics of tree assimilatory apparatus

There was used the light microscopy methods and the digital equipment for leaf area measurement. There were recognised the significant differences in groups in dependence on light intensity at selected levels of beech for leaf area, thickness and stomata density. The noticeable high variability in stomata length is visible according to influence of epidermal cells ontogenesis. The mentioned characteristics are specific with regard to other selected deciduous tree species having the significant differences as well
