Risk assessment of forest ecosystems under multiple stress impact

The stress response history of 10 Norway spruce forest ecosystems in the Tatra Mts. has been reconstructed and their present resistance and resilience was estimated. The tolerance to multiple stress impact of the trees has been exceeded on all permnanent research plots. However, only trees on the permanent research plots J and E almost reached the significant harmful effect observed on assimilative apparatus. The most transformed forest stands under study were found on plots J and E, followed by the plots C and I, whereas the least transformed plots were H, D, F and G
