Defining rational parameters of wood chip separator

Separator is a part of mobile chipping equipment commonly used in forestry. The usual separator is of shaking type, which is very simple and easily operated. The main factor, determining productivity and separating effectiveness of equipment is frequency of the net frame. In this paper, the author presented a formula of calculation for defining rational frequency of the net frame. Some measures for improving effectiveness of separating operation were also suggested
