Application of the method of balanced price ratio, competitivenes of cattle production systems is calculated based on the assumption that production results are expressed by the coefficient of the economical efficiency of the production and net income per 1 ha of cultivable land, per head of cattle and working hour. Four models defined by type of cattle production were used in this investigation. Each model was reviewed in two variants from the aspect of farm size and two variants from the aspect of intensity of animal feed production. In the majority of variants the most favourable competitiveness was demonstrated in case of fattening of young bulls 120-450 kg, and the least favourable in case of milk (calves) production. By increasing the limited land surface per household and by use of irrigation in animal feeds production the competitiveness of milk production could be increased.
