It was found in a series of trials that rape seed meal, rape seed cake and solvent rape seed cake which contained up to 2% of glucosynolates could be fed to young fattening cattle. Feeding rape seed cake treated with formaldehyde (1g/100g of protein) resulted in increased average daily gains by 7,4%
