Great differences were discovered in the average values of the specific conductivity between the individual stallions. The average specific conductivity of the stallion ejaculate measured using the four-electrode method immediately after collection was 1.34 S/m and after 24 hours it was 1.32 S/m. Calculations of phenotype correlation revealed highly significant negative correlations between the specific conductivity of the stallion ejaculate and sperm concentration and between the specific conductivity of the ejaculate and sperm motility. The correlations between the specific conductivity of the ejaculate and the volume of the ejaculate were highly significant positive. The correlations between the pH value and the volume of the ejaculate were highly significantly negative, and the correlation between the pH value of the ejaculate and sperm motility was positive.
