Agricultural land use in Southeast Lithuania

This article analyzes agricultural land use in Southeast Lithuania. Efforts for land reform have been ongoing since 1991. Many citizens have not yet regained legal rights to their property. More and more property is coming under private ownership. Since most of the land less favorable for farming is in Southeast Lithuania, it will be important for the government to plan different uses for this land in the years to come
