The research data of influence of weediness in various combinations of mixed crops is estimated in the environmental conditions in 1999 and 2000 presented in the paper. Mixed crops influenced weed species in plant associations. The used amount of competitive ability of cultures depended on the environmental conditions in the vegetation period and whether the needs resulting from their biological features were met. The competitive ability of mixed crops against weeds expressed in influencing the dynamics of dry weed mass. The dynamics of number of weeds were less influenced by mixed plant associations (mixed crops). Common vetch as a component of mixed crops was less effective in competition against weeds than using pea in mixed crop. From the species of spring cereals used in the experiment, oats more effectively influenced the growth and development of weed plants
