The aim of the field survey was to determine what damage was caused by the European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis Hubn.) to maize hybrids in addition to the primary symptoms (lodging, tassel fracture, etc.). The observation were carried out on the hybrids Colomba (PIONEER) and Occitan (NOVARTIS) in four replications.
