The aim of his work was to study the biology of germination of redroot pigweed, common lamb's-quarters and annual mercury. I also studied their allelopathic effects on field crops. In the frame of my work depth of germination and annual germination have been studied in lab and field conditions. I studied in lab conditions the effects of temperature, light and different nitrate-solutions on germination. I carried out a survey to find out the seed content of the soils in county Vas, and spreading of annual mercury. I also studied the effects of different herbicides on seed germination and development of seedlings of redroot pigweed, common lamb's-quarters and annual mercury.
