A set data consist of bio-physical and socio-economic were used to identify land utilization for sorghum. Area of the study was located in Demak Regency, Central Java. Demak was chosen as study since sorghum is common crop to farmers. Activities of the study consist of identificatin and delineation of land on the basis of comparable bio-physical identified natural land units, their constraints and opportunities; (2) identification and characterization of present forms of land covers and land use; (3) identification of the bio-physical and socio-economic requirements of the identified land utilization types; (4) matching of the inherent land requirement of the utilization types under consideration; and (5) their formulation of recommended land-uses or non-uses in order of increasing appropriateness, per land unit
