Socio-economic development of minorities in Indus valley (a case study of Taluka Chachro [Pakistan]

The study indicates that 12 respondents (40%) belongs an age group of 20-25 years being young adults. The marital status shows that 24 respondents. (80%) were married. The educational level shows that 17 participants, (56.67%) are quite illiterate. The land holdings were studied as 18 respondents (60%) were having no land of its own. Looking to farming experience it was found that 13 recipients were having 01-10 years of cultivating experience. It was learnt that 18 respondents (60%) were having house on farmland. Working status .of farmers were studied as 18 respondents (60%). were simply working on tenure system. The language spoken was identified as 16 respondents were seeking sindhi. It was learnt that 18 participants (60%) were living in jhugies. Looking to socio- economic life of the respondents, it was learnt that the economical conditions improvement were seen among responded. It was observed that 1st ranked mean value of 2.90%. In this regard the statement Do you think that due to no modern industry in your area you are not developing were emphasized respondents. Regarding domestic work carried out by the respondents themselves and their females, it owns learnt that 1st ranked value (3.06%) were given to the factor Do your females work out side home as house attendance. Regarding raising socio-economic status of the respondents the topic Education for you and your family is important this were ranked as number one received mean value Of 3.00%. All time farming operations. They get leisure time. Some farmers sure time as to earn socio-economical conditions Regarding this use of leisure time the respondents were asked whether they different capacities in different small industries. They responded as poultry houses, small ruminants herd grazing, wheat flour mills, workshops of motor cycle repair, cleaning it workshop of bicycle repair and iron smith work in different capacities like labour, technical skilled man and as helpers. From this study it was learnt that micronutrient are still at poor stage of socio-economic conditions, they will take still longer time to overcome their daily routine problems. Because they do not have better education modern industry and chances to overcome even agricultural strategies. Now a days shortage of water have just ruined their life and survival has become another issue.
