Growth of wheat plants depending on the use of bioregulators and nitrogen supply

In pot experiment it was compared the effect of kinetin, gibberellin and auxine applied against the background of increasing nitrogen fertilization on biometrical traits and biomass distribution of spring wheat organs. Among the examined biorergulators, gibberellin caused the elongation of spikes and stems and increased tillering of plants. Wheat produced the shortest stems and spikes as well as the smalest number of stems and spikes per pot upon kinetin. All applied growth regulators caused a decrease in the grain weight from the plant, as compared to control plants. The increase in vegetative organs and stem, in particular, only occurred upon gibberellin. Low doses of nitrogen increased the grain crop and proportion of grain in the total biomass. The weight of vegetative organs increased for the whole range of the examined doses
