The aim of the studies was to determine the utilization of nitrogen from complete feed mixtures for fattening pigs, depending on the source of vegetable protein. Two digestibility balance experiments were conducted on 12 crossbred hogs (Polish Large White x Duroc) whose average body weight amounted to 30 kg and 70 kg. They were divided into three groups, 4 heads in each. Three PT-1 and PT-2 mixtures, differing in the source of vegetable protein, were used: S - containing soybean meal, RSM - containing rapeseed "00" meal and RSMBP - containing field bean, pea and rapeseed "00" meal. Crude protein digestibility and nitrogen balance were also determined
