The aim of the study was to determine the modifications in populations of microorganisms inhabiting the rhizosphere of winter wheat after the application of Amistar 250 SC and Bravo 500 SC fungicides. It was found that, as compared to the control, there appeared a tendency to decreasing the number of fungi colonies of Fusarium species inhabiting the rhizosphere and rhizoplane of winter wheat which was exposed to the fungicides. Generally the application of Amistar 250 SC and Bravo 500 SC fungicides showed a positive effect on the groups of rhizpspheric bacteria studied, but there were only a few cases where the differences weer statistically significant
