Grassland management as a form of transformation of individual farms in North-East part of Poland

The studies were carried out during 1997-99 on selected farms in Turosl region, where the area of grasslands and amount of dairy cows significantly differs. There were cows of NBC breed with HF addition present on all farms similar in the level management. The results of the studies showed that all farms were directed towards changing the way of arable lands' utilization into grasslands to the year 2005. On all farms under study milk was purchased in the extra class what gives the best process and positively affects the milk production
