Iron forms as indicators of pedo- and lithogenic processes in non-uniform soils

The investigations were focused on the determination to what degree do the relatioships between different forms of iron indicate a diverse litho- or pedogenesis of the genetic horizons in soils. The total content of iron and content of other forms of iron depends on the specifics of the genetic horizon. This is testified by a variable content of the characteristic indicators. The obtained results point out the wide usefulness of the analysis of distribution of various forms of iron when solving problems linked with the origin of non-uniform soils
