Switlyk, M. (Akademia Rolnicza, Szczecin (Poland). Katedra Zarzadzania Przedsiebiorstwami)
The study was based on correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis as well as on variation of variables analysis and DEA method. In the years 1975-97 fertilization was statistically significant factor affecting the plant yield and 37 percent for 4 cereal and 24 percent for 6 crops of yield change was attributed to change of statistically significant variables. The relationship between the plant yield of examined crops and accepted variables is expressed best by multiple regression function of third degree. Statistically significant idependent variables comprised the following data: nitrogen fertilization, phosphorus fertilization, potassium fertilization and calcium fertilization. Technical efficiency of VRS fertilization calculated for particular year varied for 4 cereal from 0.872 to 0.952, for 6 crops from 0.823 to 0.939
