The essence of the invention, which is referred to confectionery industry, in particular to preparing a composition for sweets on the butter and sugar basis, lies in the task to create a composition for making sweets with improved ogranoleptic properties, extending the assortment of confectionery products and cutting prices thereof. The composition proposed contains a centres' foundant base and confectionery coating thereof. The centres' foundant base is condensed milk foundant with cocoa powder containing additionaly margarine as a fat component and the "Butter" aromatizer. The confectionery coating is made according to one of traditional technologies. The sweets possess tender milk aroma as well as butter and cream aroma. The composition allows obtaining a confectionery product with the production cost lowered by 3-5 %
