A review of all geo-heritage categories (geologic, paleontologic, geomorphologic and archeologic) that should be systematically protected and made accessible to visitors. With that purpose there is an urgent need for a detailed register of geo-heritage sites on the territory of Serbia (Yugoslavia). The registered sites should be placed under protection. This operation ought to be created by the Council of Geologic Heritage in Serbia, and realized by the Institute of Nature Protection. The Institute of Nature Protection is supposed to co-ordinate its activity with that of the Natural History Museum. Public measures of protection are to be secured (laws, finances, etc.).
