Resistance to low temperatures of seven domestic (Yugoslav) new created wine varieties of vine in comparison with standard, growing varieties, was investigated. By the method of artificial freezing of one year old cuttings, three times during the winter, it was established the resistance of buds to the critical temperatures. This investigation lasted fifteen years. The greatest resistance to low temperatures showed varieties Mila, Petra and Liza.
