The ichthyological analysis of rivers Klokot and Krusnica (tributaries of Una river), Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the part of Hydrosystem Danube-Tisza-Danube, F.R. Yugoslavia, reveals high diversity and complex structure and functional character of fish community. Making the terminal trophic level of a number of aquatic food chains, fish significantly contribute in the balance of whole hydroecosystem. The saprobic index of the majority of bioindicative species shows that the water of rivers belongs to the catharob-oligosaprob (saprobic index 0.95 and 0.8 and the water of canals system is evaluated as a beta-mesosaprobic type (the saprobic index according to Pantle-Buck is 2.04). These hydroecosystems represent the notable resource of variety multilateral purposes.
