Production potentials of light and heavy type Poultry breeders in Serbia (Serbia&Montenegro) in 2001 were analysed. A method of appraisal of the means of production results realized in comparison with the average of technological norms was applied. Analyze showed that the parental stock of light hybrid lines of fowls were utilized less than 70% and broiler breeders were utilized approximately 60% of possible capacity.
