Three out of five parental wheat varieties crossed, wer used as a female (Rescler, Car-3601 and Briocard) and two as a male component (Francuska and PKB-Prelivka) with the aim to develop new hybrids. Six sets (3x2) of parents (P1 and P2) and wheat hybrid generation (F1, BC1, BC2 and F2) were produced for the analysis. The parental varieties, hybrids F1, F2, BC1 and BC2 differ significantly or highly significantly in the mass of 1000 grains. In the hybrids of F1 generations partial dominance, superdominance are involved. In the hybrids of F2 generations intermediacy, partial dominance, dominance and superdominance are involved. For a mass of 1000 grains it was estimated that the genetic variation is superior to the environmental one since relatively high heritability estimates were obtained from (45.10 to 76.62). The inheritance the mass of 1000 grains considerably affected by the additive component in some combinations by dominant ones in other while there are combinations in which the participation of additive and dominant components is nearly equal. The analysis of combining abilities that the PKB-Prelivka variety possesses the best general combining per spike.
