The investigation was carried out with the aim to show accumulation efficiency differences among some small grains cultivars. The nitrogen fertilization efficiency depends on the nitrogen uptake efficiency from fertilizers. The nitrogen uptake efficiency can be measured by the nitrogen accumulation in the above-ground part in the flowering stage. The nitrogen accumulation in the plant represents the product of the N concentration and above-ground part dry matter weight. The genotypes with high N accumulation values can be considered as more economically for planting. They are important in small grain breeding, too. That genotypes contribute to the environmental protection because less fertilizers amounts remain in the soil as possible pollutants.
