A study on the proximate composition and nutritional value of pork obtained from pigs after 1 Gy irradiation attended by acute poisonning with 250 mg of organophosphorous insecticide phenitrothion per kg live weight has been made. The irradiation of pigs lead to increasing of water and protein content of pork and produced changes in the amino acid composition of proteins, and of the fatty acid composition of lipids, has been determined. The poisonong with AGRIA 1050 in the conditions of irradiated desease do not observed considerable changes of the proximate composition of meat, but causes decreasing of essential amino acids, and low increase of unsaturated fatty acids.
