[Efficiency of usage of beer yeast by-products larvae chironomidae as food]

Results of laboratory research using radioactive carbon to study the feeding of chironomidae larvae with the beer yeast by-products are given. The obtaned data of the daily ration, index of feed, assimilation and assimilability show that the examined by-products of the brewing industry are a feed of high value for chironomidae and can be used in fishbreeding as a stimulator of growth and development of natural fodder base of maturing ponds
