The role of additional professional education has grown greatly in the years of reforms. New negative trends have developed in rural areas, connected with unemployment. To solve this problem the Belarus State Academy of Agriculture trains yearly over 2000 agricultural experts and managers at its Qualification Improvement Department. The author has shown some drawbacks in the exsisting system of post-graduate education and suggested new ways of its improvement
